Coahuilasaurus lipani
Taxonomy
Coahuilasaurus lipani was named by Longrich et al. (2024). Its type specimen is IGM 6685 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ejido Presa de San Antonio (Coah 14), which is in a Campanian terrestrial mudstone in the Cerro del Pueblo Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Coahuilasaurus.
