Merriam 1889Size rather small; tail slender, cylindrical; ears moderate, thin, protuding slightly beyond fur, well haired on both sides; roots rather near together; antiragus small, about as high as long; hind foot more slender than in P. celatus; whiskers long and stiff; pelage deep, full and soft.
