Taxonomy
Necrocarcinus sibiricus was named by Kočová Veselská et al. (2024). Its type specimen is Charles University NA14/8+70, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nizhnyaya Agapa River, Outcrop 14, which is in a Cenomanian coastal siltstone in the Dorozhkovo Formation of the Russian Federation.
