Cirolana aptiana
Taxonomy
Cirolana aptiana was named by Bruce et al. (2021). Its type specimen is IHNFG-5945, a carapace, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is El Espinal Quarry, which is in an Aptian paralic claystone/limestone in the Sierra Madre Formation of Mexico.
