Taxonomy
Hysterochelifer manpauch was named by Córdova-Tabares et al. (2024). Its type specimen is CAF-1, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Mexican amber, Simojovel, Monte Cristo (CAF collection), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Mexico.
