Taxonomy
Eoredlichia (Pachyredlichia) shensiensis was named by Zhang (1966). Its type specimen is NIGP18143 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Liangshan, which is in a Meishucunian/Nangaoian marine horizon in the Kuochiapa Formation of China.

It was recombined as Pachyredlichia shensiensis by Zhang (1980); it was recombined as Eoredlichia shensiensis by Bengtson et al. (1990).
