Pseudothelphusa garmani was named by Rathbun (1898). It is extant. It is the type species of Rodriguezus.
It was recombined as Rodriguezus garmani by Campos and Magalhaes (2004); it was recombined as Eudaniela garmani by Feldmann et al. (2007).
