Bajoprosopon piardi
Taxonomy
Bajoprosopon piardi was named by van Bakel et al. (2021). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Les Fours à Chaux’ (lime kiln), base of level 12, which is in a Bajocian reef, buildup or bioherm packstone in the Oolithe ferrugineuse de Bayeux Formation of France. It is the type species of Bajoprosopon.
