S. E. Damborenea 2019Shell large for family, subcircular to trigonal in lateral view. Inequilateral in ated valves with short truncate rostrum and narrow posterodorsal siphonal gape. Umbones wide, opisthogyrous, placed just anterior to midlength. Ornamentation with radial ribs on posterior shell region and regular commarginal folds on anterior shell areas; rostrum surface smooth with growth lines only. Inner shell margins smooth. Hinge plate with small central thickening on each valve.
