Coturnix centensis
Taxonomy
Coturnix centensis was named by Rando et al. (2020). Its type specimen is ULPGC-A21, a set of limb elements (left tibiotarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Monte Verde, São Vicente Island, which is in a Holocene fissure fill siliciclastic in Cape Verde.
