Discussion
Derivation of name. Greek o, many, numerous; plus Latin torus, elevation, protuberance, many tubercles referring to the numerous rounded tubercles that occur on the carapace of this species.
Taxonomy
Nodoconcha polytorosa was named by Ceolin et al. (2016). Its type specimen is LM-FCEN 3210, a test (One complete female carapace), and it is a 3D body fossil.
