Ciurcalimulus discobolus

Taxonomy
Ciurcalimulus discobolus was named by Lamsdell (2025). Its type specimen is YPM IP 548961, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Martin Marietta Kokomo Stone quarry, which is in a Ludfordian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Wabash Formation of Indiana. It is the type species of Ciurcalimulus.
