P. L. Narváez et al. 2022Angiosperm pollen, oblate, with circular–subcircular equatorial outline. Grain without defined aperture, presumed distal face with striate ornamentation with coarse muri, straight and rounded, forming a labyrinthine or dichotomous-radiate pattern, extending onto the presumed proximal side around the equator. Exine semitectate, with thick columellae and tectum, columellae irregularly spaced. Ratio of columellae and tectum height ca. 1:1. Wide circular area of thinned exine on the presumed proximal side. Presumed proximal face granulate.
