Protoreodon minor
Taxonomy
Protoreodon minor was named by Scott (1899). Its type specimen is PU 11339 (Right and left maxillary portions with the left side ex- hibiting C and P^ to M^, but M^ and M^ only partially preserved) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kennedy's Hole, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Uinta Formation of Utah.
It was synonymized subjectively with Protoreodon parvus by Lander (1998).
