Taxonomy
Paraanacorax obruchevi was named by Glikman (1980). Its type specimen is IGGD 2936/2691 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Alymtau mountain near Tashkent, which is in a Campanian marine horizon in Kazakhstan.
