Taxonomy
Bonapartherium hinakusijum was named by Pascual (1980). It is not extant. Its type locality is Estancia Pampa Grande, Right side of the Cachi river, near Route 9, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial mudstone/marl in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina.
