Pseudotomus eugenei

Taxonomy
Ischyrotomus eugenei was named by Burke (1935). Its type specimen is CM 11983, a mandible (both ami of lower jaw and fragment of LM3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is West Fork of Antelope Draw, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Uinta Formation of Utah.

It was recombined as Pseudotomus eugenei by Storer (1984), Dunn and Rasmussen (2007).

J. J. Burke 1935Incisor flattened and jaw generally much as in Ischryotomus petersoni Matthew, but a much larger species (length of cheek tooth row of holotype circa 31 mm.) ; jaw more robust throughout and diastema relatively shorter.
