Ptychotrygon ameghinorum
Taxonomy
Ptychotrygon ameghinorum was named by Begat et al. (2022). Its type specimen is MPM-PV 1160.1.1, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 3LAG0, east of Tres Lagos, which is in a Cenomanian delta front siliciclastic in the Mata Amarilla Formation of Argentina.
