Taxonomy
Ginglymostoma magrebianum was named by Casier (1947). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Metlaoui (IRSNB collectino), which is in a Ypresian coastal phosphorite in the Gafsa Phosphates Formation of Tunisia.
