Taxonomy
Mindycrusta oepiki was named by Paterson and Laurie (2004). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is D-BSW Black Soil Gully, Dolodrook River, E Victoria, which is in a Mindyallan/Idamean deep subtidal shelf packstone/wackestone in the "Dolodrook River Limestone" Formation of Australia.
