Taxonomy
Corax australis was named by Chapman (1909). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hamilton River, 40 miles from Boulia, which is in an Albian marine siliciclastic in the Toolebuc Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Echinorhinus australis by Berrell et al. (2020).
