Pinnatoolithus nanxiongensis
Taxonomy
Pinnatoolithus nanxiongensis was named by Fang et al. (2009). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is 08-41-2-2, 08-41-3-1, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xinlong-Huangtang section (bed 41), which is in a Campanian terrestrial sandstone/siltstone in the Zhutian Formation of China.
