Macroolithus lashuyuanensis
Taxonomy
Macroolithus lashuyuanensis was named by Fang et al. (2009). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is 08pm-38-1 (NX070124), an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xinlong-Huangtang section (bed 38), which is in a Campanian terrestrial siltstone/siltstone in the Yuanpu Formation of China.
