Simimeryx hudsoni
Taxonomy
Simimeryx hudsoni was named by Stock (1934) [genotype]. Its type specimen is CIT 1764, a maxilla (xght maxilla with P2 to M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pearson Ranch (Bed CS20), which is in a Duchesnean terrestrial horizon in the Sespe Formation of California.
