Cantioscyllium grandis
Taxonomy
Cantioscyllium grandis was named by Cicimurri et al. (2014). Its type specimen is SC2012.48.82, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Luxapalila Creek, which is in a Santonian paralic claystone in the Eutaw Formation of Mississippi.
