Notopoides ovaloides
Taxonomy
Notopoides ovaloides was named by Ferratges et al. (2025). Its type specimen is MGSB77612, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barranco de Ramals, near La Puebla de Roda (MPZ collection), which is in a Ypresian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Serraduy Formation of Spain.
