Raja cecilae

Taxonomy
Raja cecilae was named by Steurbaut and Herman (1978). Its type specimen is IRSNB P.2648, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kruibeke, level S5-49, which is in a Rupelian marine claystone in the Boom Clay Formation of Belgium.

It was corrected as Raja ceciliae by Cappetta (1987); it was recombined as Atlantoraja cecilae by Reinecke (2015).
