Sulphaster odellettorum
Taxonomy
Sulphaster odellettorum was named by Smith et al. (2025). Its type specimen is CMCIP-94570 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sulphur ophiuroids, which is in a Serpukhovian shallow subtidal shale in the Big Clifty Formation of Indiana. It is the type species of Sulphaster.
