Pachimocaspis pachimocensis
Taxonomy
Pachimocaspis pachimocensis was named by Rustán et al. (2025). Its type specimen is INGEO-PI-2249 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zanja Honda Creek, by km 244 on NR-150, lower section, samples N0-N3.5, which is in a Lochkovian coastal siltstone/mudstone in the Los Espejos Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Pachimocaspis.
