Honeymys hoffmeisteri
Taxonomy
Honeymys hoffmeisteri was named by Kelly et al. (2026). Its type specimen is UCMP 67106, a mandible (left dentary wth m1-m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP V-3611, Mulholland Site 2, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in the Garrity Formation of California.
