Pristiophorus humboldti
Taxonomy
Pristiophorus humboldti was named by Villafaña et al. (2019). Its type specimen is SGO.PV 1307, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Punta Perro (PPN), which is in a Miocene coastal sandstone in the Navidad Formation of Chile.
