Bufo repentinus
Taxonomy
Bufo repentinus was named by Tihen (1962). Its type specimen is UMMVP 34491, a set of postcrania (distal right ilium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cragin Quarry General (Cragin collection), which is in an Irvingtonian terrestrial gravel in the Meade Formation of Kansas.
