Neatocastor hesperus

Taxonomy
Steneofiber hesperus was named by Douglass (1902). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Blacktail Deer Creek, which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Blacktail Deer Creek Formation of Montana.

It was recombined as Monosaulax hesperus by Stirton (1935) and Black (1961); it was recombined as Neatocastor hesperus by Korth (1996), Hayes (2000), Tabrum and Nichols (2001).
