Dipturus casieri
Taxonomy
Raja casieri was named by Steurbaut and Herman (1978). Its type specimen is IRSNB P.2645, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Terhagen, level 47, which is in a Rupelian marine claystone in the Boom Clay Formation of Belgium.
It was recombined as Dipturus casieri by Reinecke (2015).
