Taxonomy
Syndyoceras cooki was named by Barbour (1905) [genotype]. Its type locality is Syndyoceras Quarry, which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in the Harrison Formation of Nebraska. It is the type species of Syndyoceras.
