Taxonomy
Tillomys parvus plicatus was named by Troxell (1923). Its type specimen is YPM 13352, a mandible (right ramus with p4-m3), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Mysops parvus plicatus by Wilson (1938).
