Protospermophilus minimus

Taxonomy
Protospermophilus minimus was named by Korth (2013). Its type specimen is F:AM 144255, a mandible (left mandible with i1, and p4-m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Paleo Quarry, which is in a Barstovian/Clarendonian terrestrial horizon in the Valentine Formation of Nebraska.
