Zakrzewski 2019Molars terraced and significantly smaller than in extant species of Neotoma; molars incipiently lophodont after light wear; mesolophules and mesolophids absent in adult molars; hypoflexid and entoflexid opposite on m1; hypoflexid wide and horizontal on m1; wide dentine channel connects protoconid and entoconid and hypoconid and posterolophid on m1 after light wear; M1 mesodont (Table 3); paraflexus and hypoflexus opposite on M1; anterolabial cingulum on M2 rela- tively unreduced; M1 with three roots.
