Tsaphanomys shotwelli

Taxonomy
Paronychomys shotwelli was named by Korth (2011). Its type specimen is UO 21716, a tooth (left M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Juniper Creek (UO 2469), which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in Oregon. It is the type species of Tsaphanomys.

It was recombined as Tsaphanomys shotwelli by Martin and Zakrzewski (2019).
