Mimomys (Ogmodontomys) transitionalis
Taxonomy
Ogmodontomys poaphagus transitionalis was named by Zakrzewski (1967). Its type specimen is UMMP 28234, a partial skull (palate and maxillaries bearing right MI-M3ancl alveoli for left M1-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Mimomys (Ogmodontomys) transitionalis by Repenning (2003).
