Tenudomys dakotensis

Taxonomy
Grangerimus dakotensis was named by Macdonald (1963). Its type specimen is SDSM 54248, a partial skull (partial cranium, with P4-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sharps (SDSM V-541), which is in a Geringian terrestrial horizon in the Sharps Formation of South Dakota.

It was recombined as Tenudomys dakotensis by Rensberger (1973), Gawne (1975), Korth (1989), Korth (1993).
