Phenacomys (Paraphenacomys) brachyodus
Taxonomy
Phenacomys (Paraphenacomys) brachyodus was named by Repenning and Grady (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 264319, a tooth (left first lower molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cudahy, which is in an Irvingtonian terrestrial ash in the Crooked Creek Formation of Kansas.
