Titanoides primaevus
Taxonomy
Titanoides primaevus was named by Gidley (1917) [genotype]. Its type specimen is USNM 7934, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Witter Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Sentinel Butte Formation of North Dakota. It is the type species of Titanoides.
