Taxonomy
Tylocephalonyx skinneri was named by Coombs (1979) [genotype]. Its type locality is Greenside Quarry, which is in a Hemingfordian fluvial siltstone in the Sheep Creek Formation of Nebraska. It is the type species of Tylocephalonyx.
