| G. S. Paul 2008 | Ventral margin of premaxilla below ventral edge of maxilla. Dorsal apex of maxilla sited posteriorly on the element. Antorbital fossa and fenestra further reduced. Lacrimal usually has a contact with maxilla posterior to antorbital fossa, does not wedge between premaxilla and maxilla, ventral portion is ventral to dorsal tip of maxilla. Maxillary tooth positions 19e29, dentary tooth positions 21-25, maxillary teeth narrow, teeth usually 2 in each position, asymmetrically lozenge-shaped in labial view with prominent primary ridge which is displaced distally, dentary teeth broad and asymmetrically diamond shaped in lingual view with primary and secondary ridges separated by a median groove, and distal denticulate margins rolled lingually to produce a slight cingulum. Rhombic lattice of ossified ligaments astride mid-dorsal to mid-caudal neural spines. Manus usually narrow and compact, digits abbreviated. |
