Austinornis lentus
Taxonomy
Graculavus lentus was named by Marsh (1877). Its type specimen is YPM 1796, a limb element (left tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Ichthyornis lentus by Marsh (1880), Hay (1902), Lambrecht (1933), Wetmore (1956); it was considered a nomen dubium by Hope (2002); it was recombined as Austinornis lentus by Clarke (2004).
