Trionyx miensis
Taxonomy
Trionyx miensis was named by Okazaki and Yoshida (1977). Its type specimen is MFM-P1101, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kitakoyama boulder, which is in a Pliocene fluvial-lacustrine siltstone in the Kameyama Formation of Japan.
