J. F. Bonaparte 1996 | Small abelisaur with very reduced neural spines in cervical and posterodorsal vertebrae. A rather flat dorsal surface and a triangular, well-marked axial depression in front of base of neural spine in anterior cervicals. Long prezygapophysial process with a ridge defining lateral and dorsal planes in cervical vertebrae. Elongated posterior dorsal vertebrae bearing wing-like transverse processes and reduced neural spines. Femur with trochanteric shelf and a modest, but well-defined lesser trochanter on anterior dorsal half of trochanteric shelf. Very low and thin 4th trochanter.
