Quilmesaurus curriei

Taxonomy
Quilmesaurus curriei was named by Coria (2001). Its type specimen is MPCA-PV 100 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Salitral Ojo de Agua (general), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian fluvial sandstone in the Allen Formation of Argentina.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Juárez Valieri and Fiorelli (2004), Juárez Valieri et al. (2004) and Candeiro and Martinelli (2005); it was considered a nomen vanum by Juárez Valieri et al. (2007); it was considered a nomen dubium by Carrano and Sampson (2008).
