Migmacastor procumbodens
Taxonomy
Migmacastor procumbodens was named by Korth and Rybczynski (2003). Its type specimen is F:AM 65723, a skull (nearly complete cranium with associated mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Harrison Formation (Migmacastor Locality), which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in the Harrison Formation of Nebraska. It is the type species of Migmacastor.
